THE BOOK IS A VERY HELPFUL ADDITION TO ASSOCIATED TEXT REQUIRED FOR MY COURSEWORK.
The book comes highly recommended by Mental Health professionals nationwide. The book is a handy, helpful guide for all persons in the MH field, including Social Workers, Child Welfare Advocates, etc.

I love this book for LCSW group supervision cases. It has been a hit with my LCSW group. It's not from the DSM5 but it has not mattered one bit, we just search in the DSM5 for the current dx.

Wonderful companion to the DSM-IV-TR

VERY HELPFUL!!! The casebook provides examples that make the already difficult DSM-IV-TR a lot easier to apply and understand. I have been reading this as a sort of study-guide to the DSM. Reading the cases then looking over the DSM again has made the disorders seem more alive and considerably less difficult to apply. The cases are fairly straight forward and the "discussion" section after each one provides the detail that one needs to understand, not just what they just read, and how to apply it, but WHY it makes sense in a diagnostic setting. I would recommend this to anybody trying to learn abnormal psychology as the DSM itself is not an easy read.

Wonderful book of exercises!

I picked up this book prior to attending a 5 day seminar of Grabovoi's work and didn't actually start doing the daily exercises until after. What a great addition this little book has provided me into practical techniques that help acquaint one with this healing work. Each day contains 2 number sequences and 2 little excerpts from Grabovoi on different tools or ways of connecting to God and the world that help develop our own inner reality and consciousness while simultaneously normalizing the world around us. I've been working with the book for just under a month now and I am thrilled by it. Grabovoi's teachings are based on love of God, self and the collective all and goes to great lengths to lead us down a natural path of discovery that we are all eternal, immortal (physical immortality as well as spiritual immortality) and in control of our personal reality. He does this primarily through exploring our connection with nature and what those relationships actually reflect back to us. 2 weeks into doing the daily exercises and working with the numbers in various ways I noticed a remarkable shift in my consciousness as something inside me clicked and I felt a deeper reconnection to the Earth taking place inside of me. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking to work and understand Grabovoi's work better or even those looking for some new fresh perspectives on deepening our connection back into the heart of our divine heritage. Just about every page mentions God/the Creator a dozen times and likewise mentions physical immortality practically on each page. This should give you an idea of what the man is about.

I would also like to say that given there is a lot of controversy surrounding Grabovoi and his whole ordeal in Russia over the last few years, I truly hope that people can see through the propaganda machine that was launched against him and put him in jail 3 days after he made his intention known to run for potential Russian presidency. If you want an honest to God impression of this man, read through some of his work, by all faculties I have available to me (psychic digging, the Akashic Records, telepathic communications with him and researching all the facts I could find which have time lines of events as they transpired) I fully believe Grabovoi was set up because he desired to make a positive difference in many peoples lives. This guy is walking his talk. I am really happy this work has made it to the US after 20 years of development in Russia.

concentration excercises - very unique

after learning about this amazing man and some of his groundbreaking healings, i could hardly wait to receive the book to find out more. this is a very unique book that guides you through daily exercises to help you to transform your life in so many ways. there is a beautiful spiritual teaching that goes with the exercises that encourages you to think in a totally different way to empower you towards creating change and transformation. it all starts with you. there is a different exercise for every day of the month which keeps your interest alive and helps you to open your mind to other realities. would thoroughly recommend this book to those who are soul searching and open to understanding a deeper level of reality and who want to empower themselves to create change. it feels a little strange with some of the translation (when you first start), but it is well worth persevering as the energy keeps building up as you persevere. it also gives you a closer feeling of your own eternal link to a loving creator and your own unique creative power. no-one should be a victim after reading this! and anyone can do this. i thoroughly recommend that you research petrov and grabavoi on the internet and the miracles that have been performed.

Amazingly powerful exercises to be used for life. Within the first three days I noticed miracles unfolding in my life. Half way through the book more wonderful things happened spiritually, emotionally and physically. I have already recommended this book to friends who want to move forward and master their lives. What a divine gift to share with humanity for our next step in Ascension.

Quite a useful tool for adults and young adults who are motivated to learn with the self-instruction model of teaching

"The Guitar Grimoire: Beginning Guitar" is a self-teaching system designed specifically for the do-it-yourself aspiring novice guitar player that includes four hours of instruction on two DVDs plus a 32-page book containing graphics and diagrams to supplement the audio-visual instruction on the DVD's. Material includes essential basics such as tuning the guitar, basic rhythm, learning the fret board, basic dexterity exercises, learning the first 7 chords, transposing, variations for the 12-bar blues progression pattern and more. Although the goal of "The Guitar Grimoire" is to teach beginners how to play guitar without reading music or tablature, some of these concepts are tangentially addressed or presented. Certainly "The Guitar Grimoire" will help beginners learn to start playing chords and songs quickly, and eventually to begin improvising or composing songs. This tested teaching method has had good results and is quite a useful tool for adults and young adults who are motivated to learn with the self-instruction model of teaching through use of the DVD's.

Thia guy is a trip. If you've never played guitar like myself, this is a good place to start. Though he seems to really know what he's doing, he doesn't take himself very seriously (he wears a hooded cape while he teaches) he can have you playing guitar....as long as you practice.

Great material, embarassingly corny presentation

I purchased this to use as a structured method to teach some younger relatives to play. While I find the approach good I do have a complaint about the presentation. I understand that Mr. Kadmon is attempting to be a bit tongue in cheek and make the experience of learning approachable but the whole "swords and sorcery" schtick is actually distracting. Do away with cheesy black robe and terrible vocal effects processing and simply teach and this would be an excellent resource.

With practice it will get you on your way but a word of warning, it'll be painful to sit through the video. The book is really more a collection of handouts for the video lesson so, unfortunately, you'll have to watch the video to get anything out of the material. Presentation costs it two stars.
