Great college text !!

This is a required textbook in an on-line class I am taking, I think the ideas in this book are laid out very well. I don't have any other book on this subject to compare it to so I can only assume that the information covered in this text is current, useful and worthwhile studying.
The reason i give this text five stars is because of the great reading practice sections, I am thoroughly enjoying it and for a text book this is just amazing. I think the authors have done an amazing job in gathering many interesting and fun articles/excerpts from a wide variety of subjects. such as nature, Buddhism, Howard Zinn and Roald Dahl.
I really find this textbook fun and I hope any instructor who reads this review will try this book in his next class (as long as the information presented in this book is relevant).
